2004-P Peace Nickel Roll Uncirculated
2004 Peace Nickel P-Mint Roll
The U.S. Mint released these Peace Medal Nickels in 2004 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The obverse of each coin features the traditional portrait of Thomas Jefferson used on the Nickel since 1938. The reverse depicts elements from the Indian Peace Medals carried by the explorers into the wilderness.
You can now add this 40-coin "Banker's Roll" of the Indian Peace Medal nickels to your collection. Each coin in your roll is in the Brilliant Uncirculated condition it was released in at the Philadelphia Mint in 2004, with great strikes and full mint luster. A fascinating treasure-trove of nickels commemorating these two signal events in American history.
