1973 is the first year the copper—nickel clad Eisenhower Dollars are included in the regular Mint Set. For 1971 and 1972, they were sold separately. As a result, the 1973 set is two coins larger than the previous year, containing thirteen coins. In addition to the P & D Ike Dollars are the five minor coins, cent through half dollar, struck at both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. Also included is a San Francisco Mint Lincoln Cent.
