2008 Burmilla Cat Proof Silver Dollar Proof
The Isle of Man has released the 20th Anniversary edition of their immensely popular Cat Series. A chance meeting in 1981 between a Burmese and a Chinchilla cat led to love at first sight and the creation of a new breed. In 1983 the Burmilla Cat was recognized as an independent breed, and this 2008 Silver Dollar Proof must certainly be one of the first times the cat has ever been depicted on a coin! Stuck in One ounce of 99.9% silver the coin is 38.6 mm in diameter. Only 10,000 were minted and we were lucky to secure a small number for our customers. But hurry, cat lovers worldwide snap these up as fast as they can find them. Not only have these cats been let out, they’ll soon be gone forever!
