This French 10 Euro Silver Proof was struck to commemorate the 50th
anniversary of the Court of Human Rights proclaimed by the United Nations in
1948. The obverse pictures "The Sower" a timeless emblem on French coins
similar to Miss Liberty. Struck in 90% silver the coin is 37mm in diameter
and weighs in at 22 grams. Only 10,000 were minted, an incredibly low number
to commemorate such an historic event in mankind's history.
