Every year since 2007, the U.S. Mint has released a new set of dollar coins honoring our past Presidents. 2011 marks the fifth set in this series and celebrates the men who served from 1865 to 1881: Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes and James A. Garfield.

Each one-year-only Proof condition coin has been multi-struck to produce more pronounced details than the same coins released for general circulation. A common reverse features a beautiful rendition of the Statue of Liberty, as well as an edge-incused inscription of the year of minting, E Pluribus Unum, and the mintmark.
