Burnished Silver Eagles are back!
Will they be available again next year? No one knows.
Just six short years ago, the U.S. Mint released its first—ever One—Ounce Burnished Silver Eagle — America's iconic silver coin with a one—of—a—kind matte—like finish.
These limited—issue Eagles were only struck from 2006 to 2008 and — after a long, three—year wait — again in 2011. That's why we're so thrilled that these coveted collector favorites have been released again for 2012!
These unique Silver Eagles are just as striking as they were when they first appeared in 2006! Bearing the sought—after mintmark of the West Point Mint, each has been struck from specially—prepared silver planchets that give the coin its distinctive satiny surface.
Don't wait to order! In 2011 alone, the U.S. Mint struck 137 times more regular—issue Silver Eagles than Burnished Silver Eagles, so our supply of these 2012s is sure to disappear quickly!
Estimated arrival August 30, 2012.
