As the U.S. Industrial juggernaught geared up to produce the armaments
needed to win WWII, copper supplies became critically low. In order to keep
the war effort from grinding to a halt, the U.S. Mint changed the
composition of the Lincoln Cent from copper to steel—but for just one
year—1943! These "Steelies" have been popular with collectors ever

and are now able to offer them at an incredible price!
