We're rightly proud of our American Bald Eagle, and around the world the Golden Eagle has the same status. In fact, it's the national bird of five different countries! The birds eat just about anything from reptiles all the way up to deer, and have been used to hunt and kill wolves. The big bird is captured on this spectacular 2011 Silver Proof. It features an eagle perched, and one in flight over the Pyrenees mountains in Europe.
