You can get the two of the most popular U.S. collector coins ever minted together in this special offer. Indian head Cents and Buffalo Nickels are the two famous coin series that span the history of the United States from 1859 through 1938.
Indian Cents replaced the short—lived Flying Eagle Cents in 1859. Starting in 1864, they were struck in the size that cents are still struck today. The classic image of Miss Liberty in a headdress remained unchanged throughout the entire series. The last year they were stuck was 1909.
The Buffalo Nickel replaced the Liberty Nickel in 1913. It portrays an Indian on one side and a bison on the other. These popular coins were minted through World War I, the Roaring Twenties, and the Great Depression.
If you were lucky, maybe you got one of these coins in change as a youngster. But they're now long gone from circulation.
You can regain a bit of history with this quarter Troy pound bag of Buffalos and Indians. You'll get 12 Indian Cents in collector grades of Good to Fine. You'll get 12 Buffalo Nickels with partial to full dates. And they come in a canvas bag—just like the bags used to deliver these coins to the banks when they were minted!
