The 1920s — The Roaring '20s — was the first decade to emphasize youth
culture. More than 70 years later, the influence of that exciting era is
still being felt today! While the age of raccoon coats, speakeasies and
flappers may be gone, there are still plenty of artifacts from the fabled
era. Some of the best artifacts are Peace Silver Dollars. Struck from 1921
to 1928 and again in 1934 and 1935, Peace Silver Dollars were America's
last circulating dollar series struck entirely in 90% silver. What's more,
they were the first coin ever to commemorate world peace. Initially minted
after World War I, the Peace Dollar came into existence after the American
Numismatic Association created a committee to ask Congress to authorize a
commemorative silver peace dollar. In May 1921, the bill was introduced in
Congress and in December, the first Peace Silver Dollars rolled off the
presses. These specimens were high-relief coins and minted in small numbers.
Beginning in 1922, the regular low-relief coins were released. Here's your
chance to get the first five low-relief Peace Silver Dollars from 1922 to
1926 and ALL in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Treasured for their
beauty, uniqueness and historical significance, Peace Silver Dollars are
among the most popular collector coins in the world. Get your Roaring
Twenties Silver Dollar Collection today and find out why!
