But which came first? These 1951 to 1959 South Africa Silver Five Shillings feature the image of a prancing springbok. Look close. It's the same image that first appeared on the gold Krugerrand in 1967. This has to be a real early example of recycling! The silver springbok is actually harder to find. That's why we snapped up this lot featuring King George VI (1951) and Queen Elizabeth II (1953-59, dates vary). Get both and keep them with your gold Krugerrands!
