Daniel Brittain, a web developer from Derby, designed the Modern Pentathlon coin. He was drawn to design that particular sport because he felt it would be a challenge to fit all five figures on the one coin in an engaging way. Daniel has a degree in computer studies but is mostly a self—taught designer.
