It was the last of its kind, as the next series in 1928 reduced the notes to the smaller size we use in commerce today. This large-size note measures 7.375" x 3.125" and were affectionately nicknamed “Horseblankets” because of their huge size! Today’s $1 bills measure 6.14" x 2.61" — about a third the size of these big notes!
