One-Of-A-Kind, 1882–1973 10-Piece Type Set!
This collection features ten different types of denominations that are all in Uncirculated Mint State or Proof condition, including two quarter designs, two half-dollar designs, and three-dollar designs. It includes four coins graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) at Superb Gem 67, one coin from a famous hoard (Binion), one coin with a scarce Star designation, and a popular World War II issue. This set includes:
- 1939-P Lincoln Cent in NGC Superb Gem Uncirculated Mint State-67 RED (MS67RD) condition. According to the current NGC population report, only 3 coins are graded higher than MS67RD.
- 1943-D Jefferson Nickel in NGC MS67 condition. This is a "war" nickel where the metal nickel was removed to be used for the war effort during World War II.
- 1953-S Roosevelt Dime in NGC MS67 condition. It was struck by the San Francisco Mint, which struck only 4% of the silver Roosevelt Dimes from 1946 to 1955.
- 1923-P Standing Liberty Quarter in NGC Gem Uncirculated Min State-65 (MS65) condition. This coin's classic design was struck only from 1916 to 1930.
- 1963-P Washington Quarter in NGC MS65 condition. The motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" is doubled, which makes it an unusual type (classified as FS-101) in the series.
- 1961-P Franklin Half Dollar in NGC Superb Gem Proof-68 (PF68) condition, a high-grade coin from a short-lived series.
- 1971-S Kennedy Half Dollar in NGC PF67 with a star (*) designation meaning it has exceptional eye appeal. This popular coin in PF67* are scarce and hard to find.
- 1882-O Morgan Dollar in NGC in Choice Uncirculated Mint State-63 (MS63) condition. It's a wonderful high-grade coin from the historic New Orleans Mint.
- 1922-P Peace Dollar in NGC Select Uncirculated Mint State-62 (MS62) condition designated from the famous Binion Hoard. This coin is from the first year Peace Dollars were struck in low relief.
- 1973-P Eisenhower Dollar in NGC MS65 condition. This coin was available only in the U.S. Mint's 1973 Mint Set
