The Silver Dollar That Signaled World Peace

Struck from 1921 to 1935, the Silver Peace Dollar was originally intended to be a one-year-only release to pay tribute to the peace that had finally settled into place at the end of World War I. However, the stunning design of Liberty by Anthony de Francisci proved to be so popular that the coin continued to be struck by the United States Mint.

This set features 10 Peace Silver Dollars in About Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated (AU–BU) condition. While dates and mint marks vary, you are guaranteed to receive at least one mintmark from all three mints that struck this series: Philadelphia, San Francisco and New Orleans, as well as some key dates, including the a first-year 1921 High Relief Peace Silver Dollar (the only year struck in high relief), a low-mintage 1922-D, the controversial 1926-P with a raised “God” in the motto, a low-mintage 1927-P and a final-year 1935-P.

As a special bonus, you’ll also receive a large-sized 1923 $1 Silver Certificate in Very Fine (VF) condition — a $99.95 value! This certificate could have been traded at your local bank in exchange for a hefty, shining Peace Silver Dollar.

This is your opportunity to get a complete mintmark set of Silver Peace Dollars as well as some of the key-dates and mintmarks in the entire series. Add it to your cart today!

A COMPLETE MINTMARK SET OF PEACE DOLLARS – This ten-piece set of Peace Silver Dollars contains at least one coin from all three mints that struck this series: the Denver (D mintmark), San Francisco (S mintmark), and Philadelphia (no mintmark) Mints.

FAMOUS PEACE SILVER DOLLAR – While not produced in the same numbers as the Morgan Silver Dollar, the Peace Silver Dollar series has seen its reputation grow with each passing year. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, it features a design of Lady Liberty on the obverse and a perched eagle on the reverse. It was struck from only 1921 to 1928 and again in 1934 and 1935.

STRUCK IN FINE SILVER – Each Peace Silver Dollar was struck in 26.73 grams of highly pure 90% fine silver and measures 38.1 mm in diameter.

LEGAL TENDER U.S. COINAGE – These coins were $1 legal tender in the United States and circulated widely during the Roaring ’20s and Depression-era ’30s.

NICE COLLECTOR-GRADE CONDITION – The Peace Dollars in this set will come in About Uncirculated (AU) to Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition with complete details and lots of mint luster.

VINTAGE SILVER CERTIFICATE – You will also receive a 1923 $1 Silver Certificate in Very Fine (VF) condition. These notes could have been traded for silver dollars until 1963 when they were discontinued by an Act of Congress.

The Peace Dollar was America’s last dollar series struck entirely in 90% fine silver. Don’t miss your chance to obtain a complete mintmark set of the fabulous often-overlooked series!
