Gold Coin Design Lasts 68 Years!

When Christian Gobrecht designed this $2.50 Gold Liberty Quarter Eagle in 1840, he likely never suspected the design would last all the way to 1907! Unlike all the other U.S. gold coins of the era, the motto "In God We Trust" was never added to the $2.50 Gold Liberty, and no one seems to know why! This is the only Liberty gold piece with a fraction of a dollar in the denomination. The highly collectible classic U.S. Gold Quarter Eagle is struck in 90% gold. You'll get a coin dated between 1840 and 1907. Dates vary.
