This Morgan Five-Coin Set was Born at the Mother Mint!

Back in 1886, you probably would've carried and traded these beautiful Morgan Silver Dollars for daily goods and services. Struck at the "Mother Mint" in Philadelphia (where all dies for branch Mints are prepared), it was a time when technology was booming. Edison invented the light bulb and Bell invented the telephone. The prosperous gay '90s were just around the corner. It was an exciting time to be alive.

Now, after over a century of circulation and numerous silver meltings during World War l and ll, Morgan Dollars from the Philadelphia Mint are a rarity to find and a treasure to hold. Help us celebrate this magnificent silver coin with this 5-pc. set from 1884-1888, now available at GovMint.com!

SHINING SILVER -- Struck in 90% silver, each Morgan Dollar is expertly minted and a true vintage treasure. The set, weighing in at over 26 grams, includes one coin from each year: 1884, 1885, 1886, 1887 and 1888, spanning the time when James A. Garfield was president, and culminating with Grover Cleveland's election.

A BEAUTIFUL LADY -- Designed by George T. Morgan, 7th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, the Morgan Silver Dollar features an obverse with the image of Lady Liberty facing left, stars around her head, surrounded by the inscription "LIBERTY," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and the year. On the coin’s reverse, a soaring eagle clutches an olive branch and arrows in its talons, along with the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DOLLAR," and "IN GOD WE TRUST. The strikes for these years were strong, showing full details and beautiful mint luster.

U.S. LEGAL TENDER – Each stunning Morgan dollar is $1 U.S. legal tender and noted on the reverse.

CERTIFIED MINT STATE -- All coins will come certified Mint State-64 (MS64) by either Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) and/or Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) -- the specific service that graded each coin will vary. This distinction means that your coins will feature good strikes, surviving over a century with only moderate marks or hairlines.

PROTECTIVE PACKAGING -- To keep their high quality and clean appearance, your coins will arrive to you in labeled, clear acrylic cases, sonically-sealed to preserve and protect without taking anything away from your view of these classic coins.

This Morgan Silver Dollar set is both a great collection addition and ideal starter set to entice others into the hobby of coin collecting. I mean, who wouldn't want SILVER DOLLARS?  But don't wait too long, this is a sought-after Morgan set that every collector wants due to its rarity and vintage years!
