Thirty-One Million Minted - Only 98 Exist Higher
In 1923, Yankee Stadium opened and Roy and Walt Disney founded the Walt Disney Company. Meanwhile, in Philadelphia, the mint was striking 1923 Peace Silver Dollars at a rapid pace. When the year was over the total mintage was just shy of 31 million coins. Fast forward to today. Of those 31 million Silver Dollars, Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) has graded only 98 coins higher than MS66. Because those 98 coins can sell for $8,000 each, we searched the country to see how many we could find that grade Mint State-66—a coin virtually indistinguishable to the untrained eye from those graded one point higher—and we were only able to locate 55 coins! That’s good news if you act fast to secure one, but there’s even better news. We’re able to offer these prize coins to you at about one-tenth the price of the next higher grade. Don’t miss this opportunity!
