Baseball's 1927 "Murderers Row" Silver Dollars
Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig headed up the New York Yankees baseball team in 1927. Nicknamed "Murderer's Row," the '27 Yankees are considered by many to be the greatest baseball team of all time. This set of three Silver Dollars struck in 1927 pays tribute to that legendary lineup. All three coins-from Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco-are included, with the 1927-S Dollar being the lowest-mintage coin of any San Francisco Mint Peace Dollar. All three are struck in 90% silver and are in About Uncirculated condition. Includes a replica San Francisco newspaper and comes in a deluxe presentation case.
