The Jefferson Nickel replaced the Buffalo in 1938 when Felix Schlag won the open competition to replace the design. This album features the first 65 years of the Jefferson Nickel series. It's next to impossible to assemble this from circulating change today. Good news, it's been done for you! This collection features the first nickel, all 11 "war nickels" struck in silver, and many other key dates with ultra-low mintages. All come to you conveniently assembled in the album.
