World War II Silver Washington Quarters
In 1943, our nation was at war. We won a victory over the Japanese in the Battle of Guadalcanal, General Dwight D. Eisenhower was selected to command the Allied armies in Europe, and John F. Kennedy’s PT-109 patrol torpedo boat was rammed by a Japanese destroyer. That same year, the Philadelphia Mint struck 99.7 million Washington Quarters, each containing 6.25 grams of highly pure 90% fine silver. These were the coins that jangled in the pockets of those at home as they purchased newspapers and war bonds, and now they can be yours!
Each one available in this offer was struck at the “Mother Mint” in Philadelphia and has been certified, graded and encapsulated by either the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) or the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) as being in Gem Uncirculated Mint State-65 (MS65) condition. Grading service varies.
With 2020 marking the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, this is your chance to own a piece of that important era. Secure one of these Silver Washington Quarters now.
