This is it! A complete date, type and mint set for all Kennedy Half Dollars struck from 1964 to 2018.

The story of this coin is now numismatic legend: after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in November of 1963, Congress moved quickly to ensure that the U.S. Mint would be able to create new Half Dollars featuring the former president’s profile along with the Presidential Seal. The coins were released in January of the following year—just a few short months after JFK’s passing. The design replaced the existing Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar, and Kennedy has remained the face of the denomination ever since.

Recently, we located 40 complete sets of Kennedy Half Dollars dating between 1964 and 2018. And when we say complete, we mean it. This set includes coins from the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints, coins in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, shimmering Proof condition, Proof coins struck in 90% and 99% silver, and even the satin-like finish of the JFK Half Dollars found in the 1965 to 1967 Special Mint Sets. There’s even both Types of 1989-S Proofs!

This collection brings together 186 coins in all — a dream collection of Kennedy Half Dollars struck in the first 54 years of the series.
