For Those Who Fought for Freedom

The "Greatest Generation" or "G.I. Generation," refers to those who endured the Great Depression and fought in WWII. Together, they made significant contributions to the war effort, and in the end, were instrumental in America's heroic victory. Struck in 1993 at the West Point Mint, each World War II 50th Anniversary Silver Dollar is dual-dated to reflect the period of U.S. involvement. Each is struck in 26.73 grams of 90% fine silver and features frosted images with mirror-like surfaces. Each comes in near-perfect Proof-69 (PF69) condition graded by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC).

Actual size is 38.1 mm.
