1999 saw the introduction of the 50 States Quarters® - a ten-year program that presents five new Quarters each year, representing each of the different American States in the order in which they were added to the Union. The Statehood Quarter series was a resounding success. Now, you can own a set that makes up the complete first-year Statehood Quarters from each mint. In addition to 1999's circulating coins from the San Francisco (Proof), Denver (Uncirculated), and Philadelphia (Uncirculated) Mints, you'll receive a total of 27 coins: nine Proof coins and 18 Uncirculated coins - including the 1999 release Statehood Quarters: Delaware, Pennsylvania, Georgia New Jersey and Connecticut.
