• DESIGNED BY A FORMER U.S. MINT CHIEF ENGRAVER – Designed by John Mercanti, 12th chief engraver at the U.S. Mint, the image on the reverse of each Australian coin shows a bold eagle at the top of branch, overseeing its domain. The obverse features Ian Rank-Broadley's profile of Queen Elizabeth II along with the denomination and country of issue.
