For 28 years, the Royal Canadian Mint has been crafting these beautiful five-dollar Silver Maple Leaf coins. Now, is your chance to add their latest to your collection in near perfect condition!The 2016 Silver Maple Leaf is minted in one ounce of 99.99% fine silver, and certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corp (NGC) as Mint State 69 (MS69) condition. The coin features the traditional portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on one side along with the year and denomination. The reverse features the traditional maple leaf design and the legend CANADA, along with the coin's weight and purity.
This legal tender coin also features the special micro-engraving security feature first introduced by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2013. Under magnification, you'll be able to see the laser-engraved maple leaf on the reverse side of the coin, with a tiny '16' (the year of issue) at its center.
