Much rarer than One-Ounce Silver Maple Leafs in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, this matte proof example is minted in two ounces of 99.99% silver with a denomination of 10 Dollars Canadian. It comes encased in a protective capsule inside a Royal Canadian Mint clamshell display case, accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
Featuring Canada's symbol for over three hundred years, the Silver Maple Leaf has been minted since 1988. The reverse for this Matte Proof features a Maple Leaf in the center of the coin. Around the border appear inscriptions of "CANADA," "FINE SILVER," "2 OZ ARGENT PUR" and "9999" on the left and right side of the coin. The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II's profile facing right with "ELIZABETH II" appearing on the top border. Engraved below Queen Elizabeth II's profile is the phrase "10 DOLLARS 2017."
