Revolutionary Galvanic "Space Pink" Ennobling

For this release—the third in the series—Adolph A. Weinman's lyrical Walking Liberty on the obverse and Emily Damstra's Alighting Eagle on the reverse have been treated with a revolutionary galvanic "Space Pink" ennobling that resulted in a rich, light metallic blue coating on both sides and the edge. A lighter blue shade decorates Ms. Liberty's flowing gown and the word LIBERTY. Selective yellow gold plating highlights the eagle on the reverse and the olive branches Liberty holds on the obverse.
