Morgan, the 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar differs from its vintage ancestors only in that instead of being struck in 26.73 grams of 90% fine silver, it has been minted in .859 troy ounces of highly pure 99.9% fine silver. The rest is all still there–the same profile of Lady Liberty, a cap, flora, and a crown incused with the word "LIBERTY" adorn her head, while 13 stars, "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and the 2025 date are engraved around the rim of the coin. The familiar reverse returns as well showing an eagle with outstretched wings clasping arrows and an olive branch, accompanied by a wreath. The same inscriptions: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and "ONE DOLLAR" are there to encircle the eagle.

Perfect Uncirculated Condition

Each coin available here was struck at the Philadelphia Mint and, just like the vintage Morgans struck there more than a century ago, has no mint mark. Plus, each has been graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) as being in flawless Uncirculated Mint State-70 (MS70) condition, a distinction that means these perfectly-graded coins have ZERO imperfections–showing all features and fields exactly as the engraver and mint intended. In addition, NGC has designated that these Morgan Dollars are First Day of Issue (FDI) coins, meaning they were purchased within one day of the first day that they were made available for sale and were received by NGC or an NGC-approved depository within one week of the release date along with documentation that demonstrates the date when they were purchased.
