The Peace Silver Dollar is one of America's most popular vintage coins and the last silver dollar series struck for circulation entirely in silver. Featuring the same designs created by Italian American Sculptor Anthony de Francisci, the 2025 Peace Silver Dollar differs from its vintage ancestors only in that instead of being struck in 26.73 grams of 90% fine silver, it has been minted in .859 troy ounces of highly pure 99.9% fine silver. The rest is all still there–the same profile of Lady Liberty wearing a crown of rays modeled after the design of the Statue of Liberty. The model for Lady Liberty was 23-year-old Teresa Cafarelli de Francisci, the young sculptor's wife. The familiar reverse returns as well showing an eagle at rest holding an olive branch above the inscription "PEACE."

Near-Perfect Uncirculated Condition

Each coin available here was struck at the Philadelphia Mint and, just like the vintage Peace Dollars struck there more than a century ago, has no mint mark. Plus, each has been graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) as being in near-perfect Uncirculated Mint State-69 (MS69) condition, a distinction that means these almost-flawless coins showcase impressive full strikes and indistinguishable imperfections–well above and beyond the quality of the vast majority of coins in the series. In addition, NGC has certified that these Peace Dollars are First Releases (FR) coins, a designation that means they were received by NGC or an NGC-approved depository within the first 30 days of issue.
