Each legal-tender $1 bullion coin was struck in a full ounce of highly pure 99.9% fine silver at a variety of U.S. Mints and have no mint marks. That's because Bullion Silver Eagle coins do not have mintmarks. From 1986 until 1998, they were produced in San Francisco; in 1999 and 2000 they were produced at both the Philadelphia and West Point Mints. Since 2001, the Uncirculated Silver Eagles have been produced solely at West Point. Again, with no mintmark.
