An Ending And Beginning For America’s Silver Eagle

When the United States Mint announced that it would be changing the design on its Silver Eagles in 2021 — the first design change in the series’ 35-year history — people went absolutely bonkers. Then, when 2021 arrived, collectors were presented with not one but TWO Silver Eagle designs: The first or “Type 1” version, featured John Mercanti’s original Heraldic Eagle reverse design. Midway through the year, the second or “Type 2” version, was released featuring Emily Damstra’s new Alighting Eagle design. It was a fantastic event in modern coin collecting and a monumental year for the Silver Eagle Series with a “first” and a “last” in the same year of the U.S. Mint’s most popular coin!

Coins Purposely Held Back To Commemorate Historic Year In Silver Eagle Series

Unknown to most collectors, however, was something The Mint did that was not revealed until later in the year. The Mint announced over the summer of 2021 that it had purposely held back the final 200,000 Uncirculated Type 1 Silver Eagles as well as the first 200,000 Uncirculated Type 2 Silver Eagles. Furthermore, Mint officials reported that they had held back these coins in order to offer them as special pedigreed Silver Eagles to commemorate the historic transition year of the design change. And now, thanks to our connections within the coin industry, we’re able to offer these coins in special autographed, graded, and pedigreed sets!

Near-Perfect Silver Eagles From The First And Last Days Of Production

In this offer you can secure a spectacular two-piece set that includes a Last Day of Production (LDP) Type 1 Silver Eagle and a First Day of Production (FDP) Type 2 Silver Eagle. These coins have been certified and graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as being in near-perfect Uncirculated Mint State-69 (MS69) condition, a distinction that means these almost-flawless coins showcase impressive full strikes and indistinguishable imperfections — well above and beyond the quality of the vast majority of coins in the series. Plus, each coin has also been sonically sealed in a museum-quality acrylic holder with a 35th Anniversary LDP/FDP label.

Don’t Wait; Secure These Specially Pedigreed And Graded Coins Today

It’s also important to know that only 19,000 out of the 200,000 Type 2 Silver Eagles that were held back are eligible for the First Day of Production (FDP) pedigree — and even fewer achieved a near-perfect MS69 grade! No Silver Eagle collection is complete without these special pedigreed coins! We expect these Silver Eagle sets to fly out of here in no time. Don’t miss out, secure one of these specially pedigreed and graded two-piece sets today!
