With a lack of monetary supply, each colony, as a self-governing settlement to the British Crown, began printing paper currency to alleviate the shortage, using designs of choice. That makes this three-piece set of 1776 Colonial Notes unique because it features three different colonies that printed its own notes: a 4 Shillings from Delaware, a 6 Shillings note from New Jersey, and an 8 Shilling note from New York. Plus, each note has been certified and graded by Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The Delaware note was graded in Crisp Uncirculated-63 (CU63), the New Jersey note was graded in Crisp Uncirculated-64 Exceptional Paper Quality (CU64 EPQ), and the New York note was graded in Crisp Uncirculated-64 (CU64).
