Due to complications caused by the COVID pandemic, the new Silver Eagles, called Type 2, weren't released until late Jul of that year, so they didn't get a full year of release like usual. This three-piece "type set" features all three regular-issue Proof Silver Eagles from 2021–the Type 1 design issued by the West Point Mint and the Type 2 design issued by both the West Point and San Francisco Mints.
