These stunning proofs display an obverse that mimics the look of the China Mint's 2014 Panda—released the same year the ANA World's Fair of Money was held for the fifth time in Chicago in the new Millennium. It shows a cuddly Panda cub clinging to a tree limb. In the foreground is the official ANA seal. The reverse honors Chicago with a panoramic view of the city's skyline as seen from Lake Michigan. It includes the inscriptions "Chicago The Windy City" at the top of the design and "World's Fair of Money" in both English and Mandarin Chinese at the bottom. This design is the second in a two-part series that began with the 2021 ANA Show (also held near Chicago) which featured the first half of the panoramic Chicago Skyline image. When the 2021 and 2022 commemorative Proofs are put side by side, they complete a picturesque scene of the skyline and Navy Pier!
