That of course, is one of the most important years in the history of America since it's the year the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence declaring their independence from King George III and Great Britain.

With a lack of monetary supply in the 13 Colonies, each colony functioned as a self-governing settlement to the British Crown and began printing paper currency to alleviate the shortage. These 1776-dated notes represent four of the Colonies—Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Each note has been certified as authentic and graded by Paper Money Guaranty (PMG), one of the leading third-party currency grading services in the world. The set consist of the following notes:
