This fantastic six-coin set gives you everything you need to kick off an amazing collection. Every coin is a key-date, comes protected in a clear capsule and the entire set comes housed in a deluxe presentation case with a storycard and certificate of authenticity.
- You’ll start with a Lincoln Wheat Cent struck between 1944 and 1946, when the U.S. Mint struck their pennies from used World War II cartridge shells.
- Next is a Jefferson “War” Nickel struck between 1942 and 1945, when the coin contained no actual nickel due to the demands of the war effort!
- What follows is a first-year 1946 Roosevelt Dime, struck to honor the president who passed just one year before.
- Then comes the first-year 1932 Washington Quarter, which was supposed to be a one-year-only issue for Washington’s 200th birthday but was so popular it was struck again from 1934 all the way to 1998!
- Next is the first-year 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar, issued mere months after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
- The set is topped off by a first-year 1971-S Eisenhower Dollar — the first dollar struck for circulation since 1935.
Each coin comes in Extremely Fine to Brilliant Uncirculated (XF–BU) condition. An incredible set for any collector!
