17-Centuries-Old Roman Follis

Nearly 1,700 years old, this Roman coin featuring the emperor Constantine the Great marks the start of Christianity's dominance in Europe. Certainly, Christianity would have gone the way of many other religions were it not for the intervention of Constantine the Great.

One Of The Roman Empire's Most Famous Emperors

It's no stretch to say that Constantine the Great changed the course of history. Not only was he a Roman emperor who ruled at the height of the empire's power, but he was also the first Western Roman emperor to convert to Christianity. His Edict of Milan in 313 declared religious tolerance for Christians and the First Council of Nicaea—which produced the Nicene Creed—was called in 325 by Constantine. Not surprisingly, for these and other acts he was venerated a saint by the Eastern Orthodox and Catholic Church.

Mint State Quality Certified By NGC

The coins in this offer have been hand-selected to be in very high-grade quality and were certified, authenticated, and graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) as being in Mint State (MS) condition. These are truly worthy additions to any collection of historic and significant pieces. This is key since ancient coins in Mint State condition can be difficult to come by since most are in rough shape—if they survive at all. Although there are many coins of the Constantine dynasty, most are in very poor condition. This bronze follis is an exception, graded and authenticated by NGC and housed in a s story vault holder. The bold features of its design pop, just as they did when it was seen by the ancient peoples who used it. Our supply is limited, so secure yours now, while you can!
