Only 37 people have served in the prestigious position of Director of the U.S. Mint and David Ryder has served as the 34th director of the Mint in 1992-93 under President George Bush, and returned as the 39th director from 2017-21 under President Donald J. Trump.

David Ryder, who is also a paid ambassador for GOVMINT, is the only two-time director of the Mint in over a century, and in 2021, he was named one of Coin World’s Most Influential People in Numismatics (1960-2020).
