The obverse of each coin features the first ever effigy of His Majesty King Charles III on Australian Mini Roo coins, by The Royal Mint designer Dan Thorne whose accomplishments include winning the design competition for the 2022 Britannia, one of Britain’s flagship coins. Thorne created a true reflection of His Majesty for the official portrait for international coinage.
