The First Note Issued After Hitler Came To Power

This 1933 50 Reichsmark, dated March 30, 1933 (3-30-33), was the first note issued after Hitler came to power. It features a portrait of David Hansemann, Germany’s most popular 19th Century Prussian statesman.
