Promotion Period: The GovMint American Silver Eagle Sweepstakes (“Promotion”) begins at 11:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on November 12th, 2024, and ends at 11:59 PM ET on January 31st, 2025.

HOW TO ENTER

Entry and Entry Limits: To enter the Promotion, entrants must, during the Promotion Period: 

(1)   Pre-order 1 or more of ANY 2025 American Silver Eagles on Govmint.com from the U.S. Mint.  Each customer pre-order including 1 or more 2025 American Silver Eagles will receive one (1) entry into the Promotion. Multiple pre-orders with 1 or more 2025 American Silver Eagles will result in multiple entries. 

(2)   Alternatively, entrants can enter the Promotion without making a purchase by filling out the form located at https://www.govmint.com/american-silver-eagle-sweepstakes. Only (1) one form entry per customer will be entered into the drawing.

Eligibility. Only entries made or received before the end of the Contest Period will be eligible to win the prize (defined below). This Promotion is only open to permanent legal U.S. residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, who are physically located and residing therein and who are 18 years of age or older on the date of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor and its affiliates, their family members, or any other individual domiciled with an employee of Sponsor, or any of its affiliate or subsidiary companies are not eligible.

By entering the Promotion, you represent and warrant that you have read and accepted these Rules and understand that you may be contacted by the Sponsor to inform you that you are the winner and how to receive your prize, and otherwise by Sponsor in accordance with the terms of its Privacy Policy. The use of any device and/or software to automate the entry process is prohibited.

PRIZE

Prize. There will be a single winner determined by a random selection from among all eligible entries. The total value of the Prize will be determined by Sponsor. The Prize will be one of three 2025 American Silver Eagle products: (1) 2025 American Silver Eagle BU, (2) 2025 American Silver Eagle NGC MS70 FDI with Black Core and .999 Silver Label, or (3) Roll of 20 2025 American Silver Eagle BU .  Approximate retail value of prize ranges from $32.00 to $850.00. Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or combined with any other offer. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for Prize, except that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may substitute Prize for one of equal value. Winner is solely responsible for all costs, incidentals, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as being included. All federal, state and other tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of the Winner. The Prize must be accepted as awarded.

Prize Draw: One winner will be selected at random by Sponsor from among all eligible entries received/posted during the Promotion Period on January 5th, 2025 (“Promotion Drawing Date”). Sponsor’s selection of the winner and all decisions regarding this Promotion are final, binding and non-appealable. Within one (1) week following the Promotion Drawing Date, Sponsor will contact the potential winner by email. Should the potential winner not reply to Sponsor by e-mail or telephone within 48 hours, or the potential winner does not otherwise comply with the Promotion requirements, that potential winner will be deemed to have forfeited any rights to his or her Prize and Sponsor will have the right to select an alternate potential winner from among the remaining eligible entries. Before being officially declared the Winner, a selected entry will be verified by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of age and compliance with these Official Rules prior to awarding any Prize. The Sponsor retains the right, in its absolute discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of the unavailability of the Prize for any reason. The decisions of Sponsor on all issues relating to the Promotion will be final and binding on all entrants.

Odds: The odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries submitted/posted during the Promotion Period.

GENERAL

All Prize claims are subject to verification by the Sponsor and/or its designated representatives. 

Any attempted form of entry other than as described herein is void. 

Sponsor will be the sole and final reference source in validating the Prize claim. 

All forms and entries, and information provided in the forms and entries, become the property of Sponsor. Neither Sponsor nor any organization involved in organizing the Contest shall be responsible for any Contest documentation that is unreadable, illegible, incomplete, lost, stolen, misdirected, not received, destroyed, or delayed for any reason whatsoever.

Sponsor is not liable for faulty computer components, software, or links, the loss or nonexistence of communications capability, or faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions that render a Promotion entrant ineligible for the Promotion. Sponsor is also not liable for any damage or loss that may be caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any software or form or the transmission of any information with regard to entering the Promotion. 

Any personal information supplied by entrants to Sponsor or its affiliates will be subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Except where prohibited by law: (1) an entrant’s entry and/or a winner’s acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use a winner’s name/address (city and state), photo, likeness, biographical information, statement, voice for advertising/publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media (including posting on www.govmint.com or social media outlets run or managed by Sponsor), in perpetuity, without further notice to or compensation in connection with said Promotion or the prize awarded; (2) Sponsor has the right to modify, edit, adapt, electronically alter, use, assign and/or dispose of such entries however it sees fit and for any purpose without any notice or compensation to entrant or any third parties; and (3) your submission of an entry in the Promotion constitutes your agreement to be contacted by Sponsor by mail, SMS/text, email, telephone, including mobile phone, or other means to for marketing and/or promotional purposes, and otherwise used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. 

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Promotion, in its sole discretion, in the event a computer virus or bug, unauthorized human intervention, pandemic, quarantine, virus or any other occurrence beyond its control corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security, or normal operation of the Promotion, or for any other reason within Sponsor’s deems necessary and reasonably, in its sole discretion.

By participating in the Promotions, participants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and Regulations and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final.  Spoinsor reserves the right to change or alter any of the Contest Rules and Regulations or to cancel the Contest at any time.

By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries, as well as any advertising companies, promotion agencies, or other individuals engaged in the development or execution of this Promotion from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of or relating to their participation in this Promotion or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any Prize received in this Promotion.
