While Supplies Last!
Since its inception in 1986, the American Silver Eagle has become arguably the most collected coin worldwide. For the first 35 years, it featured John Mercanti’s Heraldic Eagle reverse design. In honor of the program’s 35th Anniversary U.S. Mint Director, David J. Ryder wanted to make a historic change to coin with a new reverse design. This design, created by artist Emily Damstra, features an American Bald Eagle about to land, with an oak branch in its talons portraying American strength and endurance.
