2000–2008 Sacagawea Dollar 3-pc Mint Mark Set
Sacagawea Mint Mark Set
The very first circulating United States coin to feature an identifiable Native American (the Buffalo Nickel was a composite portrait of three people), the Sacagawea Golden Dollar celebrates the legacy of the woman who helped guide Lewis and Clark on their 1804 to 1806 expedition through the Louisiana Purchase to find an overland route to the Pacific and open the American West to exploration and settlement. First Released in 2000, the coin’s mintages quickly dropped, and starting in 2002, the coin was available only to collectors. This three-piece set includes one coin from each mint that has struck the coin: Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco. The S-Mint coin even comes in mirrored Proof condition! Dates vary from 2000 to 2008.
