To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Kruger’s birth, the world-renowned South African Mint has released a series of 2025-dated gold & silver Krugerrands that feature a special “1825” Paul Kruger privy mark that shows the iconic bust of Paul Kruger—the same image that has appeared on Krugerrands since they were first introduced in 1967—with the “18” and “25” on either side. Only a limited number of these special edition Krugerrands with the “1825 Paul Kruger” privy marks have been authorized by the South African Mint, and their mintages are only a fraction of their standard release counterpart!

The 2025 South Africa Paul Kruger Bicentennial Privy Marked Silver & Gold Krugerrands are available as sets or individually as gold and silver coins. They all features the classic Kruger and Springbok designs, now enhanced with a special “1825 Paul Kruger” privy mark. The gold coins were struck in 91.7% fine 22-karat gold and the silver coins were struck in highly pure 99.9% fine silver. Plus, each coin we have available has been graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) as being in a flawless Proof-70 Ultra Cameo (PF70UC) condition and further designated as being a First Day of Issue (FDI) coin. Extremely limited worldwide, even fewer coins are available in perfect condition with key FDI designations. Each coin will be accompanied by an official mint-issued certificate of authenticity and mint-authorized packaging.
