Here you have a beautiful 100-gram bar that was lovingly cast in highly pure 99.9% fine silver not by being struck in planchets but by using poured silver. This production method is a nod to the “old school” method of creating easily transportable silver bars. The result of this method results in dips, wrinkles, and burn marks—the appearance of which means that no two bars are exactly alike! The trapezoidal bar’s silver weight and purity is featured on the underside of the bar along with the Scottsdale Mint’s Lion logo. Though not graded with any sort of finish, the 53.5 mm x 26 mm x 8 mm bar does have highly reflective surfaces.
