2012 1 Dollar 1-oz Silver Eagle PCGS PR69 Mercanti Signed
2012 Silver Eagle Near Perfect Proof-69 Signed by John Mercanti
This 2012 Silver Eagle Proof is graded near-perfect Proof-69 (PR69) by Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). It's also a special John Mercanti collectible issue, and features the signature of Mr. Mercanti on the coin's label and sealed with the coin in its PCGS holder.
As Chief Engraver, John Mercanti designed the reverse of the Silver Eagle. He has produced more coin and medal designs than any employee in United States Mint history (dating back to 1792). The U.S. Mint has only employed 12 Chief Engravers since 1792. Proof Silver Eagles are struck for collectors and feature much smaller mintages than bullion, uncirculated Silver Eagles.
Each coin contains one full troy ounce of .999 silver and features the historic image of Miss Liberty draped in a U.S. Flag walking boldly into the future. This coin is massive and attractive and these characteristics are key factors in the huge demand annually. Order yours today!
