This set begins with a 2019 Silver Eagle certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as being in flawless Uncirculated Mint State-70 (MS70) condition, a distinction that means this perfectly-graded coin has ZERO imperfections — showing all features and fields exactly as the engraver and mint intended. In addition, NGC has also certified that it is a First Day of Issue (FDI) coin, meaning it was received by NGC or an NGC-approved depository by the release date or on the business day within 24 hours of the official release date.

The Uncirculated version of the Silver Eagle is the coin with which most collectors are familiar. But then come the 2019-S and 2019-W Silver Eagle Proofs, struck just for collectors with frosty designs and mirrored fields. Minted at the San Francisco Mint and West Point Mint, respectively, these coins both come in flawless Proof-70 Ultra Cameo (PF70UC) condition, also certified as FDI.

Fourth is the 2019-W Burnished Silver Eagle, featuring a satin-like finish. This coin comes graded by NGC as MS70 and certified as an Early Releases (ER) coin, a designation that means it was among the first struck by the mint and was verified within the first 30 days of issue.

Then come the all-new Enhanced Reverse Proof Silver Eagles, featuring a combination of frosted and mirrored surfaces. The first of these was struck at the West Point Mint and was available only as part of the special “Pride of Two Nations” Set jointly released by The United States and Canada. This coin comes certified as PF70 and First Releases (FR), a designation that means it was received by NGC or an NGC-approved depository within the first 30 days of the coin’s release. Collectors seek out these coins because they are produced with new dies and considered to have sharper strikes and deeper mirrors than those that are struck later.

The second Silver Eagle Enhanced Reverse Proof was struck in San Francisco, and with a mintage of only 30,000, it’s the lowest-mintage Silver Eagle to date! This coin comes in near-perfect Proof-69 Ultra Cameo (PF69UC) condition, a distinction that means this almost-flawless coin will showcase an impressive full strike and indistinguishable imperfections — well above and beyond the quality of the vast majority of coins in the series. In addition, NGC has also certified that it’s a First Day of Issue coin.

Every one of these coins comes sonically sealed in an acrylic holder with a stunning black display core holder. And to top it off, each coin has been encapsulated with a special label that was personally signed by former U.S. Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti. Mercanti, who served as the 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, famously created the heraldic eagle reverse design for the Silver Eagle series.
