Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen or heard about The Child — the “Baby Yoda” from the Disney+ television show the Mandalorian™ that has captivated Star Wars™ fans eager for an expansion of their favorite entertainment franchise. Toys, comic books, and coins have all featured this adorable little green-skinned creature. And now, the prestigious New Zealand Mint has released an absolutely superb miniature sculpture of the little fellow that’s sure to augment any Star Wars, Mandalorian or baby Yoda collection!

Designed by a Master 3D Sculptor

Struck in 150 grams — more than five full ounces — of highly pure 92.5% Sterling silver, this miniature figurine captures every detail of The Force-sensitive alien child. If you’re a fan of the show, you know that The Child’s name is Grogu™ and he is of the same species as Jedi Grand Master Yoda — who he, not surprisingly, bears a striking resemblance! Standing 5.5 centimeters tall, this piece is accurate in every detail. It’s a fantastic miniature designed by master 3D sculptor Alejandro Pereira Ezcurra.

Incredible Antiqued Finish Adds Incredible Depth

And to add even more depth to the already incredible detail, the statue has been generously layered in a deep Antique finish. The addition of the unique Antique finish makes the dark crevices of the design contrast with the shiny high spots for a finished figure that is utterly breathtaking. And, since this finish is typically applied by hand, it means no two miniature are exactly alike!

Low-Mintage Miniature Comes In Original Mint Packaging

Just 1,000 of these coveted miniatures have been cast for worldwide release and each one here will come beautifully housed in its original Mint packaging that consists of a premium Mandalorian-themed case that includes a black base that includes the miniature’s silver purity, copyright, and unique production number. In addition, the figurine and its base will be encased in protective cushioning to prevent damage while being shipped.
