1909–1958 Lincoln Wheat Cents Near-Complete 126-pc Collection G–BU
Near-COMPLETE 126-Piece Collection Of Lincoln Wheat Cents!
The Lincoln Cent is one of the most popular and recognizable coins ever struck by the United States Mint, and for many of us, it’s the coin that opened our eyes to the world of coin collecting when we found our very first Wheatback Cent. Struck from 1909 to 1958, these Lincoln Cents feature a pair of wheat stalks on the reverse instead of the Lincoln Memorial that replaced it in 1959—a long-running design that was replaced in 2008 by today’s Shield reverse design. If you ever manage to find a vintage Wheatback Cent in your pocket change, it’s truly a cause for celebration! Here you have every single Lincoln Wheat Cent—every year, every mint—except one which is incredibly hard to come by.
Loaded With Hard-To-Find Lincoln Pennies
With the exception of just a single coin, this amazing collection includes every Lincoln Wheat Cent, from every Mint (Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco), beginning with the coin’s introduction in 1909, through the final minting in 1958, after which the reverse design was changed to the Lincoln Memorial. The one missing coin? It’s the extremely-hard-to-find 1909-S VDB version struck at the San Francisco Mint. The 1909 VDB struck at the Philadelphia Mint is included, however, along with other hard-to-find Lincoln Cents like the non-VDB 1909-S (mintage of 1.825 million), 1922-D (mintage of 7.16 million, the only Lincoln Cent struck in 1922), 1931-S (mintage of only 866,000), and all three 1943 Steel Cents (struck in Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco).
Act Fast To Get One Of These Near-Complete Sets
Each coin comes in Good to Brilliant Uncirculated (G–BU) condition, and each 1909–1958 Lincoln Wheat Cents Near-Complete 126-Piece Collection arrives housed in a coin album, with an open hole for the not included 1909-S VDB coin. Like we said, many of these coins are extremely hard to find, which accounts for the fact that we were able to put together just eight of these sets. We don’t expect them to be around for long, so ACT FAST!
